Quick & Dirty Jam Tarts and Cheese Twists

We are in autumn now which means getting into what my mother called ‘dinner dinners’. Soups, casseroles, pies. I like to cheat with a pie and use tinned meat with shop bought puff pastry on the top - don’t judge me! I’m a busy lady!! I always have puff pastry left over though, which is where my quick and dirty recipes come in. Tarts are my fave but I thought I’d give cheese twists a go as well. For the tarts I roll out the pastry and cut into rough squares. I then pushed then into a cake tin and filled the middle with jam (raspberry is my fave). Bake these in a 200 degree C oven for 15 mins until golden brown. The jam will spill out and it won’t be super pretty but they are tasty!! For the cheese twists I rolled out the pastry into a big square. I the spread grated cheese on one half - I had cheddar and Parmesan in the fridge but use whatever you have!
